WHO WE ARE

We are the first association of climate change and policy experts, founded thirteen years ago.

Our mission is to assist the business community in combating climate change, reducing CO2 emissions, implementing the Low Carbon Strategy, the Adaptation Strategy, and the European Green Plan in their business plans and processes, and providing support for sustainable – green economic development and growth in the Republic of Croatia as well as Europe, while preserving the environment and climate.

The International Institute for Climate Action (IICA) became a partner of the MUTIRÃO-BURKINDI COALITION initiative during the COP30 held in Belem (Brazil), while the president of IICA is Mrs. Marija Pujo Tadić gave a speech during the launch of this valuable initiative at a high level.

IICA PRE-COP30 event

The International Institute for Climate Action (IICA), as the first association of climate change and policy experts, held the IICA PRE-COP30 event on Wednesday at the Esplanade Hotel, which served as an introduction and as a support for the Croatian business and financial sector as well as the Government for the upcoming world's largest climate conference COP30, which will be held from 10 to 21 November 2025 in Belém, Brazil.
