Participation in an Important Discussion on the Future of Climate Policy and Action

The President of the International Institute for Climate Action (IICA) and Special Advisor and Envoy for Climate Action of the Republic of Croatia, Mrs. Marija Pujo Tadić, together with Prime Minister Andrej Plenković and his team at Banski Dvori, was honored to participate in a significant discussion on the future of climate policy and action, alongside with the European Commissioner for Climate Action, Zero Emissions and Clean Growth, Mr. Wopke Hoekstrom.

This visit comes at a crucial time, as the Omnibus proposal raises key questions regarding mandatory sustainability reporting and ESG standards. Commissioner Hoekstra again reaffirmed the strong support of the European Commission for Croatia’s and the Government of the Republic of Croatia’s commitment to climate action and green transition, highlighting the ongoing dedication to these important goals.

We deeply appreciate his visit and unwavering commitment, which he symbolically marked by signing the Golden Book.
