Jakov Kolega, with more than 10 years of management experience, stands out as the founder and director of a business and financial consulting company, including Greengreen Advisory and Agrarno Savjetovanje. With over 550 successfully implemented EU projects, Jakov is an expert in leading and managing a multidisciplinary team specialized in consulting and financing projects in the field of green and digital transition, application of ESG criteria in business processes, including development of methodology for sustainability reporting and development of ESG strategies and statements about sustainability.
He specializes in the analytical review and methodological application of the ESG legislative framework, including CSRD and ESRS Standards, and the development and implementation of project ideas aligned with ESG requirements and the European Green Plan, financed from EU funds. Expertise in the mentioned topics is transferred by providing training on sustainability topics, CSRD/ESRS obligations, compliance with EU Taxonomy guidelines, and DNSH principles for various sectors of the economy.
Jakov completed education at the International Institute for Climate Activities, Level 1 (ESG Advisor) and Level 2 (Sustainability officer) and obtained certificates for International Advisor for sustainable business and circular economy and sustainability strategies at the University of Cambridge.
He graduated from the Faculty of Agriculture in Zagreb and the postgraduate study “MBA – Master of Business Administration”. Jakov Kolega represents a consultant with rich experience in management, consulting, and sustainability both in EU Funds and in ESG. Currently, he is the founder and director of the company Greengreen Advisory, which brings together a team of experts on sustainability and ESG topics, as well as the application and implementation of projects to all EU funds.
