Ana Odak graduated in Economics from the Faculty of Economics and in Journalism from the Faculty of Croatian Studies in Zagreb. Additionally, she holds a Master of Science in International Affairs and a specialization in European Studies from the Faculty of Political Sciences at the University of Zagreb. She further expanded her education at the London School of Public Relations (LSPR) and the Harvard Kennedy School, as well as at the International Institute for Climate Action (IICA), where she earned the ESG Business Advisor certification.
She began her professional career in public administration, where she held a number of responsible positions from 2004 to 2020, including Head of the Minister’s Office and Assistant Minister for Strategic Planning. During this period, she developed extensive expertise in project management and strategic planning.
In 2020, Ana joined GITONE Kvarner as Director of Strategic Investments and Incentives. Since 2021, she has been a Board Member, responsible for investments, strategic investments, planning, EU funds, and the development of projects focused on green technologies, sustainability, and innovation in the blue and green sectors. She pays special attention to initiatives related to the circular economy, hydrogen, and waste management.
Ana presides over MARINN – Maritime Innovation Cluster and GRINN – Green Innovation Cluster, where she promotes collaboration and innovation in the maritime and green sectors. She is also a member of the Supervisory Board of Liburnia Riviera Hotels, where she contributes to the strategic development and improvement of operations in the tourism industry. She is also a member of the Board of Director in the Foreign Investors Council Croatia.
