The NATO-Industry Forum – “Addressing the New Strategic Reality Together”

¸

The NATO-Industry Forum, a collaborative effort between NATO Allied Command Transformation (ACT) and the Defence Investment Division, served as the foremost high-level event and brought together 800 participants, including more than 235 industry leaders, on October 24 and 25 in Stockholm, Sweden. The primary objective was to foster an open dialogue with the industry to promote innovation and enhance capabilities within NATO. The event took place in Stockholm, where a reception for conference participants was held in the magnificent space of their City Hall.

The central theme for 2023 was “Addressing the New Strategic Reality Together”.

Our president Ms. Marija Pujo Tadić had the distinct privilege and responsibility of moderating a distinguished panel focused on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) considerations and their impact on the defense industry. We explored areas of mutual interest at #NIF23.

We would like to convey our deep gratitude to the outstanding team and the exceptional panelists, including Hortense Bioy, CFA BIOY, the Global Director of Sustainability Research at Morningstar; Raffaella Luglini, Chief Sustainability Officer at Leonardo; Kris PEETERS, Vice-President of the European Investment Bank (EIB); Jan Pie, Secretary-General of the Aerospace, Security, and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD) and Board Member of ICCAIA – International Coordinating Council of Aerospace Industries Associations; Rudy PRIEM, Chair of the NATO Industrial Advisory Group (NIAG) and member of the International Governments Relations team at RTX.

We would like to convey our appreciation to the entire NATO and OTAN team, under the leadership of Jens Stoltenberg and Philippe Lavigne, for their outstanding collaboration. Special thanks to Lazar Liviu, Dr. Vlasta Zekulic, Petra Furdek, Oana Lungescu, Bob Bowman, and others.
