Jasna Marić Krajačić is a seasoned policy and communication expert with a strong background in EU Youth and Regional Policy, who has for the last nine years held various posts in Brussels in the European Commission and European Parliament – her current employer. Prior to this, she worked as a press officer in the cabinet of the Croatian minister of foreign affairs and as a diplomat in Brussels dealing with economic affairs. In her career, she also managed the communications departments in Pliva, Croatia’s leading pharma company, and in the Croatian National Tourist Board and the Department for EU Pre-Accession Funds at the Croatian Postal Bank. After obtaining a Master’s degree in European Political and Administrative Studies from the College of Europe in Bruges in 2003, she decided to dedicate her career to bringing Croatia closer to EU membership mainly working with SMEs and young people in boosting their capacity to obtain EU funding. She has a keen interest in programs like Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs and Green Erasmus projects.
